Steve had career in Local Government running front line services including an excellent planning function and was President of the Planning Officers Society before he became Chief Planner for the Government from 2008-2020. In that role he was at the forefront of policy reform and helped shape the legislative changes including the NPPF. He now has a portfolio of activities , supporting the LPDF and Town legal and London Strategic Land. At hgh Consulting he provides strategic advice and support both internally and to clients.
