PROJECT: Oaklands, Old Oak Common, the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham

CLIENT: Genesis HA and Queen’s Park Holdings Ltd

As planning adviser for the redevelopment of the Oaklands House site at Old Oak Common, hgh worked with the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) from pre-application, through EIA, to determination.  The mixed-use scheme for 605 residential units, 33% on-site affordable, 3,500 sqm commercial area, open space, parking and infrastructure was granted permission in July 2016 and signed off by Mayor Sadiq Khan.  Within the process hgh led discussions with the Greater London Authority, the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, and a CABE design review panel as well as the local community and key stakeholders.
